Helping families in need in North Tillamook County through food assistance as well as informational access to community support partnerships.
Need food? All are welcome at our Tuesday food distribution. You’ll select a week’s worth of food, including meat, eggs and other dairy products, cooking staples, bread, pasta, beans, soup, cereal, and more. We also have hygiene items, diapers for adults and children, and dog and cat food.
At this time of year, Alder Creek Farm brings hundreds of pounds of fresh, organically grown produce and plant starts every week from the local community garden.

How to help
Many people in our community struggle with food insecurity. Here’s how you can help:
Make a financial donation. We can purchase food less expensively from the Oregon Food Bank and from local and big-box stores.
Donate food. We always appreciate donations of shelf-stable food or fresh produce from your garden. Consider buying a little extra on your next shopping trip. You can bring donations to 1st Security Bank in Manzanita, or to North County Food Bank during our open hours. If you have a large donation, please contact us.
“The food bank has helped us through some hard times.”
“I never planned for what has happened to my life. I appreciate all your volunteers for all their work.”
“As a mother of four, single, and disabled, the food bank has truly saved us at times.”
“I’m a 63-old (still) mom. I’ve worked hard all my life to be able to retire, but my husband was killed and I’m still supporting our children I love so much. The food bank has saved my life and my children. Thanks.”
“Without this food assistance my children would be hungry.”
